I'M NOT AVOIDING WORKING ON COSPLAY. I'M NOT REALLY. I'M NOT WORRIED AT ALL ABOUT AX COMING UP AND HAVING TO DO ALL THAT STUFF AND FINALLY PUT THE COSTUMES TOGETHER AND AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have a money issue. AKA, I'm not good with not impulse or splurge buying, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Cosplay. :(

Anyone have any clue what pattern to follow to sew these pants? It looks like hakama style tie at the top, but it's not pleated, poofy at the knees and fitted at the hips and crotch. I can't figure out how to cut the fabric ;_;

TEN, friday? Does that mean we need to drive there Thursday night to pick up our passes? I wish we could just find a hotel near there or someone's house sob.

Possible costumes for Friday: . . .Squalo & Xanxus? Need to fix patches (sew them on this time, grr) and straighten wig. Oh shoot, I hope they're open tomorrow. :| SALLY'S DON'T BE CLOSED, I NEEED YOUUUUUU

Sunday, will be doing the gothic lolita fashion show as a favor to a friend. She's running one of the booths. Her stuff is . . .cute. Very pretty but not really my style, har har. But it'll be fun.

LOVELESS: Words on the Wind

Another from the Soubi shoot last month.

It's been bloody cold and dreary here! I love rain and such but when it's raining you want to be snuggling under a blanket with a cup of cooca or coffee, not out in the rain doing things!

anruik visited Monday night and slept over! That was fun \o/ I also had a counttosheep (who was a terrible evil person and introduced me to Spore and omg, I need to conquer all the tribes and argh, body parts!!1) But we had fun times! Rui made me a scarf that had all these hidden messaged crocheted into it and it was hilarious fun figuring out the message with J. We were on the floor with the scarf stretched out trying to see what it said :Db.

Monday night was also the night we had our Christmas dinner at Maestro's, which was delicious. Best steak I've had, pretty much EVER. Well seasoned, tender, juicy, and served on a 400 degree plate that kept it warm. (Which is good because I'm a relatively slow eater these days.) But yes, definitely delicious. I still want to try Lawry's because my cousin and god-sister tell me really good things about it, but I also miss French Brassiere. Maybe we can go there again. With Rui and Ten as well as eizra, we all went to our favorite french boulangerie/restaurant, Vie de France for breakfast. They have delicious fresh made pastries and tarts and drinks, wonderfully crisp baguettes and breads and an incredibly cheap breakfast menu. Delicious, delicious. The breakfast open faced sandwich (basically un croque monsieur) was wonderful and only about $6. It also came with unlimited fresh bread, jam and butter.

Uploaded another one! It was a fun time yesterday doing these! Altho the sun set a lot sooner than expected so our shoot ran only two hours instead of the whole afternoon we'd anticipated. Sadly :(

And seriously, there is no such thing as winter in California- at least not in the sunny, breezy beach-side area I live in. I wish there was snow. It'd look so cool if we were at a cafe in snow.
