I've been meaning to mention this but keep forgetting.

This applies to anyone who lives in, lives near or is visiting Seattle, WA and has an interest in contemporary experimental theatre. If you haven't heard of them, there's a company called The Satori Group that moved to Seattle in 2008. They produced their first Seattle show this year, and they currently have Artifacts of Consequence running (through November 22).

I went to college with a number of the founding members, and they are very hip, smart, exciting people. If contemporary theatre is your thing -- or if you don't know and are willing to find out if it's your thing -- go check them out!

[Nadia is used to nightmares. She has them very often and has acclimated to sleeping restlessly.

She has not, however, acclimated to waking up on a strange, alien vessel, when just minutes ago she was pacing around her bedroom, checking all of the doors and windows in her house, and curling back up in bed as though paranoia is a completely normal part of life (because for her it is). She is not acclimated to forcing herself to consult every possibility and procedure surrounding "I woke up on a slab of cold, sterile metal with no memory of how I got here."

That was perhaps a quarter of an hour ago. Now, Nadia is cautiously inspecting the ship, mapping out the perimeter of her apparent prison, working her way out of the cramped hallway near the meeting room. There's little here to orient her, little here to help identify a possible captor. Though loath to touch too much, she puts a hand against the wall, observing everything of the place's construction. All said, it isn't much, and Nadia is increasingly frustrated and confused and concerned the farther she gets down the hall. She is still wearing her nightgown, barefoot, hair disheveled. She would look 100% lost and nonthreatening, except she also happens to be packing heat. ]

Haha, it seems I am going to be making ridiculously little money from here until December, then I won't be making any money at all until January. HILARITY. I'll look for a part-time job or actually teach my mom English, idk.

BUT I'm still in classes, so this means I am still a somewhat productive member of society. \o/



In other news, I'm still hunting for badfic. One-shots preferred, aiming for terrible grammar. Well known fandoms outside the internet (Harry Potter, Twilight, Disney??)

Aaaand Ramza is dropped. Final Fantasy Tactics remains my favourite FF game and Ramza is an amazing character, but he never completely clicked with me.

Of the past 48 hours, exactly 30 mins has been spent sleeping, and that was on the bus on the way back home.

around 8 of them have been spent desperately working on homework which I found out today I don't need to hand in until two weeks.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH well at least it is done.

I went on a caffeine binge and consumed 90mg of caffeine in ten minutes, then went on a sleep-deprived rant on the similarities between R Kelly's stuck in the closet and Silas Marner.

Somehow I am now doing two radio shows.

Got hit on by a creepy 40 year old.

Got my concept summary singled out as the best piece of work the lecturer had marked. /o/

THE TRICK IS, I CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING HIGHER THAN PG-13 AND IT HAS TO BE BETWEEN 300 AND 500 HUNDRED WORDS.

and by badfic I mean badly written stuff "Clark should of known louis wasn't gonna liek it" I need ~3~ stories for a magical project next Friday.
